僕の写真機／京セラＴプルーフ ― 2008/01/31 23:12

南船場写真機団／「写真機と写真」展－後編－が来週2月5日よりNadar/Osakaにて始まるので、また「僕の写真機」について書いていこうと思います。

今回は、京セラのＴプルーフというコンパクトカメラ。
沈胴式レンズで割りとノッペラとしたデザイン、そして全く使い物にならないウェストレベル・ファインダーがついている生活防水のこのカメラは、10年程前よくバックパッキングで旅していた頃に、手軽に使えるかさばらない旅カメラが欲しくて、中古で買ったものです。
はじめ、よく知らずに購入したのだけれど、コイツにはツアィスのT*テッサー 35/3.5がついていて、一番最初に撮ったカラーネガのプリントを見てびっくりした。「なんか、めっちゃエエやん」
シャッターを押しただけ、というよりも内臓ストロボのモード以外露出も何もいじりようが無い（そのストロボもオート、赤目軽減、強制発光、発光禁止のみ）にもかかわらず、色のノリもコントラストも十分で、しばらくの間そのプリントをまじまじと見つめ続けていた。
写真の描写は、レンズの個性によっても大きく変わるのだという事を、この時初めて知った気がする。
ただ、知った気はするが、それ以後も僕はレンズにあまり頓着はしない。
必要最低限の性能さえ満たせば、何でもいいと思っている。
ともあれ、この京セラ・Ｔプルーフは長い間僕の旅カメラとして活躍してくれたが、そのポジションも今はベッサRやデジタルに譲って、家で留守番をする事が増えてきた。
今年は久しぶりに、ザック担いで一緒にどこか行こか？
引退するにはまだ早いで、Ｔプルーフ君。

先ほどヤフオクを覗いてみたのですが、同じレンズを持つ兄弟機が何点か出品されておりました。（TD、T-scope、SlimT、T-zoom）
あと、非常に不確かな情報で申し訳ないのですが、つい最近、大阪･梅田の八百富写真機店（大阪駅中央店）で、一台見かけたような気がします。
